Michelle Ruff graduated with her B.A. in Communications from Oakwood University, Huntsville, AL in 1996 and with a M.A. in Communications from Morehead State University, Morehead, KY in 1998. A 2001 graduate of the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, Michelle participated in the Immigration Clinic as a student; received an award for her public service work; and, was an active member of the Diversity Committee. After graduation, she begin her career working with Farmworker Legal Services in Michigan and proudly continued her non-profit service with Cobb County Legal Aid, a division of Atlanta Legal Aid and the Latin American Association before going into private practice. She is a member of the Kentucky, Michigan and Georgia Bar Associations.
Michelle has put together training materials on cultural sensitivity for guardian ad litems and spoken on the impact of natural disasters on immigrants for young lawyers assisting Hurricane Katrina victims.
Most importantly, Michelle has two adult children, who endured college, graduate and law school with her as a single mother. She is an avid fitness enthusiast who volunteers to teach a workout class to senior citizens in Atlanta, Georgia, where she lives.
Doug Allen is Managing Senior Counsel for PNC Bank.Doug provides guidance regarding consumer and business deposits to both the Retail and Private Bank (Wealth Management) lines of business. In addition to providing general counsel, he advises on the Issues Management process, the development and servicing of deposit products, the review of advertising copy and employee training materials, and experiential banking. He also serves as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) expert and sits on the PNC Legal Department’s Diversity & Inclusion Council.
Prior to joining PNC, Doug was an associate in the Appellate Group of Reed Smith LLP, where he authored appellate briefs and provided support for clients in state and federal appellate courts across the country.Doug also served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge John G. Heyburn, II, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky, and for the Honorable Judge Boyce F. Martin, Jr., in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Doug received his B.A. in Politics and French from Washington & Lee University, his M.A. in French from Middlebury College, and his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law. He is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State Bar of Georgia.
Robyn Farmer is VP, Deputy General Counsel for the Atlanta Braves. In this role, Robyn has primary responsibility for compliance, labor/employment and international legal matters. She is a founding member of the company's DE&I Council and serves as the leader of its Community Committee. Previously, Robyn held in-house positions with The Coca-Cola Company and Newell Brands. Prior to moving in-house, Robyn was a labor and employment attorney at Bryan Cave LLP and Fisher & Phillips LLP. Robyn is an honors graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law and earned her B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.
Rachel Reid (CIPP/US, CIPP/E) is Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Privacy Officer at Voya. As Corporate Secretary, she is responsible for all corporate governance matters, working closely with senior management and the Board of Directors, including responsibility for public company reporting, annual proxy solicitation and shareholders meeting, and related compliance functions. As Chief Privacy Officer, she is responsible for the privacy-related legal and compliance functions across the enterprise. She advises executives and senior management on proactive privacy measures; develops and implements the long-term privacy strategy as well as enterprise policies, procedures, and standards; develops the mandatory annual privacy training content; and collaborates with the CISO on information security and cyber security strategy and initiatives. She also leads the Voya Privacy Office, which is tasked with ensuring firm-wide compliance with evolving privacy laws, regulations and industry standards, and providing centralized resources for the management and oversight of privacy risk and compliance. As Deputy General Counsel, Ms. Reid supports all lines of business across the enterprise by providing legal advice in the areas of privacy, data security, data governance, information technology (IT), outsourcing, vendor management, procurement, IP, marketing, e-commerce, and social media. Ms. Reid also serves as the intellectual property (IP) attorney for the firm, which includes primary responsibility for trademark clearance, registration and advice, copyright advice, patent advice, and infringement matters Ms. Reid joined Voya’s Law Department in 2009. She earned her JD from Harvard Law School, and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida.
Martá Brown is Associate Counsel for Atlanta headquartered Interface, Inc., a global modular flooring company for commercial and residential markets. Martá drafts, reviews, and negotiates a wide variety of complex commercial agreements for Interface throughout the world and advises the Interface marketing team on global ESG strategy and initiatives. Martá also manages all commercial litigation in the Americas for Interface, serves as lead counsel for Interface on numerous corporate financial transactions and SEC filings, and is a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team and management on business strategy throughout the organization. He earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science from North Carolina State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
LaChandra Pye is Corporate Senior Counsel and Government Contracts for the US Electrification Business Area at ABB Inc. where she guides and counsel stakeholders to ensure comprehension and implementation of the necessary legal measures and advises and represents the various Electrification Divisions’ interests regarding legal matters in their respective markets. Prior to her work at ABB Inc., she was general counsel at Caduceus, a private federal contractor, and worked as a Senior Attorney at the City of Atlanta. She has focused most of her career on government contracts, general corporate matters, and regulatory compliance with experience in-house, in private practice, and in the public sector.
LaChandra obtained her B.A. from Dillard University in New Orleans, LA and a J.D. from University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law in Lincoln, Nebraska. In her spare time, she enjoys inspiring others to be their best selves.
Rodney Miller is a Partner in Womble Bond Dickinson’s Atlanta office. He is a registered patent attorney who represents public and private companies in intellectual property matters, including due diligence, licensing and transactional work, IP monetization and portfolio valuation, patent office post-grant review, and litigation, including patent, trademark and trade secret disputes. He has litigated intellectual property cases across numerous industries, including telecommunication, semiconductors, Internet protocols, operating systems, hardware and software storage systems, user interface, and pharmaceuticals. Rodney earned a B.S.M.E degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center

She has also held positions as AGC of Global M&A at Cognizant and Counsel at Akin Gump in New York focused on M&A and PE representation. She has a particular passion for team building and DE&I.
Ruby Jackson serves as Senior Counsel for Southern Power Company, a leading wholesale energy provider meeting the electricity needs of municipalities, electric cooperatives, investor-owned utilities, and commercial and industrial customers across the United States.In her role as Senior Counsel, Ruby supports various business functions across Southern Power with landowner disputes, contract negotiation, compliance and warranty claim resolution.
Ruby is active in the Birmingham community and has served on several Boards and Committees. Ruby currently serves in a leadership capacity for the Birmingham Bar Association, Magic City Bar Association, and Alabama State Bar. Ruby is a member of the Birmingham Bar Young Lawyers Section, Women Lawyers Section and In-House Committee.
Ruby attended Florida State University, and majored in Economics and Political Science, before attending Cumberland School of Law, where she attained her Juris Doctor. Ruby is married to Sidney Jackson (Wiggins Childs), and they have two children, Colin (7) and Caylin (4). In their spare time, they enjoy walking the trails at Red Mountain and taking the kids to the Birmingham Zoo.
As Assistant General Counsel, Compliance Matters, Samyra oversees Porsche’s formal compliance programs throughout North America. She is responsible for the implementation of compliance guidelines, including development and delivery of training materials and supporting the organization on various operational matters.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Samyra graduated from California State University with a degree in Spanish and earned her J.D. from Western State University. During her undergraduate and law school years, she worked for Toyota Motor Sales in Torrance, CA. After law school she relocated to Atlanta and after practicing Alston & Bird LLP for three years, returned to her passion – the automotive industry. She spent three years with Asbury Automotive Group, Inc. and finally joined Porsche Cars North America, Inc. in September 2013.
Brittany Teal is Senior Corporate Counsel for Nordstrom, Inc. where she advises the retail brand on strategic sourcing and purchasing transactions. Prior to joining Nordstrom, Brittany was in-house counsel for Fiserv, a global fintech provider for banks, credit unions and
other financial institutions, and taught Legal Research & Writing for the Continuing and Professional Education program at her alma mater, Southern Methodist University.
Brittany has been recognized as an Outstanding Corporate Counsel by D Magazine and the Association of Corporate Counsel. A native Texan, Brittany earned her B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and her J.D. from the SMU Dedman School of Law. Outside of work, Brittany enjoys traveling, live music and rooting on her beloved Longhorns.
Shantia Coley is a transformational speaker, facilitator and attorney who serves as in-house counsel for Wells Fargo. At Wells Fargo, she handles an international defensive litigation caseload and manages a docket of over 100 matters annually. As a millennial and first-generation college graduate, she is equally passionate about wellness, leadership and inclusion. As such, she enjoys engaging in courageous conversations on these and other topics.
Shantia is a graduate of Elon University where she currently serves on the President’s Young Leaders Council and North Carolina Central University School of Law. In her community, she was appointed to the Domestic Violence Advisory Board by the Charlotte City Council and recently joined the Goodwill Industries Board of Directors.
Shantia was recognized as one of the top 40 litigators in the nation by the National Bar Association and presently serves as its liaison to the American Bar Association. She has shared the stage with dynamic actress/comedienne Kim Coles and the phenomenal Miss USA. Shantia is married and is the mother of identical twin six-year-old boys.
