Tim is a Partner based in Chicago in the PwC’s Forensic Services, Advisory practice. He has more than 20 years of experience in information risk management and governance, intellectual property and contract disputes, complex data analysis, digital forensics, eDiscovery readiness, data analysis, forensic accounting, and fraud investigations. Tim’s expertise includes helping government and major public and private corporations across various industries worldwide prepare for and respond to unplanned events with a legal, regulatory, or compliance element.
He has led numerous global large -scale eDiscovery, information risk management, and complex data analysis projects in matters involving Securities and Exchange Commission and U.S. Department of Justice investigations, litigation matters, data breach, incident response, Ponzi schemes, insider trading, money laundering, anti-bribery and anti-corruption(ABAC), Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Prevention of Bribery Act, disputes, and various corporate investigations. He also works closely with law enforcement and government entities to assist with complex investigations and sensitive matters.
Prior to joining PwC, Tim served as a Corporate Auditor for Sony Corporation of America performing licensee, royalty, financial, operational, and compliance reviews as well as special investigations for all divisions of Sony in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA from Oral Roberts University as well as several certifications, including the EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), New Technologies (NTI) Computer Forensics Methodoly Certification and he is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Tim has presented numerous times on the topics of digital forensics, eDiscovery, integrated investigations, information risk management, and detecting and managing fraud risk. He has also served as a Judicial College and litigation forum faculty for digital forensics, eDiscovery and electronic evidence investigations.
