Steve sets the strategic direction for the company as well as each summit's editorial content. His focus is to develop quality conferences that cover hot button topics and provide high-level networking opportunities for business communities. Steve's conference and trade show experience includes leadership positions at IQPC (International Quality and Productivity Center) and IIR (Institute for International Research). Steve started Centerforce based on the core belief that conferences, when done well, are a powerful and effective business solution.
Steve moved from his native England to the U.S. in 1991 and not only graduated with a B.A. and M.A. in History from Montana State University (MSU), but was also an all-conference collegiate tennis player. Go Bobcats!
Most weekends Steve can be found on a tennis court somewhere contemplating a comeback.
Robyn is responsible for all legal matters at Centerforce. In addition, she is head of the Diversity division which includes speaker recruitment and on-site management of the Women in the Law Series. Before joining the company, Robyn spent 10 years as General Counsel at Great Eastern Energy, headquartered in Brooklyn, NY. There, she headed the legal and regulatory department, advising management on corporate structure, risk, resource allocation, new markets and business metrics. She received her B.A. in Social Sciences from the Ohio State University, her J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University, and a Master's Degree in Energy Law from the University of Tulsa. She is a Member in Good Standing of the New York State Bar.
Some of Robyn's passions include volunteering for a variety of Native American causes and traveling the world.
Mario works directly with Centerforce's clients to assist and guide them in creating quality customized business development opportunities.
Mario received his B.A. in History from Seton Hall University (Go Pirates!) and his M.A. in Latin American Studies from Temple University.
Mario is a fanatical Philadelphia sports fan, enjoys playing guitar, collecting cigars, and coaching youth basketball. His is also the father of three amazing kids.
Cara graduated from Fairfield University with a double B.A. in English Literature & Cultural Studies and Film, Television & Media Arts. She also minored in Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies and Digital Journalism.
When not scouting bookstores for her next favorite read, Cara is a regular attendee of local (and not-so-local) Comic Conventions where she can debate all things sci-fi and superhero with con-goers from throughout the world.
Ana received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communications with a minor in Psychology from the University of Sacred Heart in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is bilingual and loves to read and write in Spanish.
Ana worked in the Real Estate Industry for over 6 years where she gained countless skills in team building, administrative organization and took on various managerial roles.
During her time off you can find her hiking and exploring, spending time with her pets, family and friends, cooking or attending concerts!
As Marketing Associate, Kambria develops and implements marketing campaigns for CenterForce’s events. She aspires to highlight CenterForce’s informative and illuminating services.
Kambria recently graduated from Cornell University, majoring in Sociology, and minoring in Inequality Studies and Law and Society. During her undergraduate career, she was heavily involved in social justice advocacy work and ran her own business which provided hair services for WOC on campus.
Kambria considers herself a creative. In her free time, she writes poetry, dances, and is an avid music connoisseur.
Sophie brings her passion for fostering community to her role as Marketing Associate, executing campaigns to highlight CenterForce's conferences and help bring people and their ideas together.
She graduated from Boston University's Questrom School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Organizational Behavior. At BU, Sophie's greatest honor and joy was writing for an arts and culture publication dedicated to students of color and their stories.
Other than constantly moving down her bottomless 'to-read' list, Sophie enjoys writing, sewing, running, and alleging that she is "learning how to cook."
Iris brings her charisma and personality to her role as an associate conference producer. She has a genuine passion for inclusivity and diversity in the workforce. She graduated from Hunter College with a BS in public health and is also bilingual. In her free time she loves to explore new restaurants around the city and give her unsolicited yelp reviews. When she’s not binge watching Netflix, she loves to tune into her favorite crime podcast.
Monica graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a double minor in Psychology and Child Development & Family Relations. She was a member of the Maine Business School Corps, an organization dedicated to helping smaller Maine- based non-profit organizations and wrote content for Her Campus, an online magazine targeted to the female college student demographic.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, attending concerts, spending time with friends, and sight-seeing.
